The Health Act 2006 gives the National Assembly for Wales powers to make regulations for a ban on smoking on enclosed public places.		2006年健康法は、ウェールズ議会に対して、屋内公共空間での喫煙を禁ずる法を制定する権限を与えた。
A public consultation on the draft Smoke-Free Premises etc. (Wales) Regulations was launched on 21st July 2006 and runs until 13th October 2006.		2006年7月21日から、（ウェールズにおける）禁煙施設等に関する法の法案についての市民聴聞の手続きが開始されたが、受付期間は2006年10月13日までである。

All of the Welsh Assembly Government estates became smoke-free on July 1st 2005.		ウェールズ自治政府のすべての施設は、2005年7月1日から禁煙となった。
A Bill to give the National Assembly for Wales the power to end smoking in all workplaces and enclosed public places was formally announced in Parliament on January 12th 2005, and had it’s Second Reading in March 2005.		2005年1月12日に、ウェールズ議会に対してすべての職場と屋内公共空間での喫煙を禁じる権限を与えるための法案が、英国議会に公式に提出された。同法案は、2005年3月に第二読会で審議された。
The Bill, virtually identical to one already passed by the House of Lords, did not get through the Commons.		この法案は、実質的に上院を既に通過したものと同じであったが、下院を通過しなかった。
