In June 2005, it was reported that changes to 30-year old laws governing smoking were being changed in order to make it possible to prohibit smoking in pubs and clubs where food is served.		2005年6月に、制定後30年になる現行の喫煙規制法が、食事を提供するパブとクラブでの喫煙を禁止するために、現在見直されているところであるとの報道があった。
In July 2005, the States voted in principle to prohibit smoking in all premises that serve food, including all nightclubs, bars and pubs, and in all workplaces, probably within the next three years.		2005年7月に、議会は、すべてのナイトクラブ、バー、パブを含むすべての食事を提供する施設と、すべての職場での喫煙を、3年以内をめどに、原則として禁止することを可決した。
