In June 2006 it was reported that the Health Ministry is planning on introducing a tobacco control act to ban smoking in public places such as government offices, public transport, schools and hospitals.		2006年6月に、保健省が、政府のオフィス、公共交通機関、学校、および病院などの公共の場所での喫煙を禁止する法の制定を計画しているとの報道があった。
This followed an order from the Supreme Court to introduce a ban on smoking in public places and tobacco advertising in newspapers and magazines.		これは、公共の場所を禁煙にし、新聞・雑誌のタバコ広告を禁止すべしとする最高裁判所の命令に続いての動きである。
