Since 1995, smoking in public places including cinemas, theatres, schools, universities, railway stations and airports is prohibited.		1995年から、公共の場所での喫煙は禁止されている。公共の場所には、映画館、劇場、学校、大学、鉄道の駅、空港などが含まれる。
Smoking is also prohibited in schools and school sports grounds, or in other premises used for the education of children.		喫煙は、学校、学校の運動場、またはその他の子供の教育に使用される施設でも禁止されている。
Government buildings at both national and local levels are also smoke-free zones.		中央政府および地方政府の建物も禁煙である。
However, there are no fines for violating this law.		しかし、法に違反した場合でも罰金は課せられない。
In all of these premises except schools it is possible to designate smoking rooms, so long as second-hand smoke cannot drift into smoke-free areas.		上記のうちの学校以外の場所では、環境タバコ煙が禁煙の場所に漏れ出す可能性がない場合に限り、喫煙室を設置することができる。
Smoking is also prohibited on buses, airplanes and ferries.		喫煙は、バス、飛行機、フェリーでも禁止されている。
Fines are given to those who smoke in subways or on trams.		地下鉄もしくは路面電車で喫煙した者には罰金が課せられる。
Designated smoking areas are available on trains.		列車には、喫煙席が設置されている。
